I have a set of those DD on the shelf. They do pound pretty good in the lids, and have the option of a screw in comp driver for highs.
They are middle tier. The reds are they high end line. These are much higher sensitivity needs less power but also less lower end freqs.
Yeah I personally wouldn't touch anything other than the Yellow but a couple comp folks last weekend were running these Blacks complimented very well with other shix and it was eye watering loud clear and well balanced.
