The popping fixed itself...well what i mean is on my second ride after that install the cerwin b52 amp that the tweeters were connected to ended up catching fire which in turn sent the loudest pitch I've ever heard at 70+ miles an hour. My wife heard it in the chase car 15 bikes behind me. Lucky the amp put itself out but fried the tweeters. I bought a new pair and those are wired to massive blx4 and i haven't had any popping. I also grabbed a pair of Audiopipe ATQ-1550 horns that are in my bags next to my 10s and they sound great.

So far so good, I had to settle on these as everything else I wanted didn't fit in the lids. That being said they sound really good. very good mid bass and clear vocals.

If you are referring to the Speed by Design Lids I used no mods at all. Lined right up and fit perfectly!
