Default Stinger 700 mount

I swear when I was researching I found tons of threads on Stinger install but now that I have it in hand, I can’t find any with pics. Where is everyone mounting the Stinger 700 on Rushmore RGS? I have a 19 and thought people were mounting on top of radio, but that doesn’t look like it will work. Help!! Bike is apart and I’m off work. Thanks. Pics appreciated if possible

I have a CV amp mounted below the radio (I'll be swapping it for the Stinger soon). I'm using an amp tray but I think some are just mounting it on top of the headlight..

It mounts on top of the headlight. Use some Velcro and stick it in place. Not sure if the Stinger will fit behind the two tabs on the front or not. If not just use a hacksaw blade and cut them off flush.

definitely doesn’t fit with tabs. Thinking of Velcro and zip ties to under side of radio

I got mine to fit without grinding the tabs off. And yes, a couple pieces of velcro. I think I double layered them to make up for the height gap on top of the headlight.

Its tight and it has to angle down in the back under the radio a bit. If I can find my pics, it kinda shows how it looks.
