Default SounDigital amp question
Just found a sounDigital 1200.4d evo amp for a good price. Is it a decent amp? Or does anyone has experience with them? Thnx

It's a great amp,plenty of power, but it does not have adjustable crossovers. It's great to use with a DSP, or with a HU that has an adjustable crossover.

Thnx for the quick reply. What exactly is the adjustable crossover for? I’m running a 4 speaker system with a Sony 7000. I’d like to be able to adjust the fade front and back.

A crossover is for limiting frequencies going to a speaker. For instance if you have a 6.5" speaker with a frequency range of 100hz to 20000 Hz, you would set the high pass crossover at ~100hz so the speaker can play in a range it's designed for.

If the price on the amp is a great deal and you want to use it, you could always use some 100hz, 120hz bass blockers.

I love my 800.4 soundigital. Something else about the amps they have a life time warranty. They stand behind their products.
