Default Need to hear Google maps
I have a 07 RKC with loud pipes. I have a Sena 10 in one helmet and a Cardo Q solo in another. Can't hear either one past about 40 mph. I put the 45mm JBL speakers in the Cardo helmet but the Cardo just doesn't have the stuff to drive them. they were no better than the stock speakers.
Has anyone tried noise-canceling earbuds or maybe one of the newer com's? Want to hear Google maps at 75 on the Freeway.

not sure what your source of sound is but I used to use a pair of Bose QuietComfort 20's on my Vrod which was extremely loud, worked like a charm they are wired though.

I was looking at them too. I may give them a try. I just want to connect to my smartphone. Don't need rider to rider com.

Try turning off the equalizer on your phone and give it a try....
