Ok since my Batwing thread has had no participation I thought I would try another thread. I'm I leaving anything on the table with my current setup?
Below is what I have installed and a couple of other items sitting on the shelf. Do I bridge the MMats amp for the fairing speakers and add a second amp (possible the JLA Bridged) for the lowers? If I want to swap speakers in the lowers should I put in another set of MMats in that position to keep up with the fairing? Other recommendations on speakers to go with the MMats? Should I add a DSP if I use the QZ yellow baskets?
In my opinion youre not leaving much on the table. Those MmatsCX in the fairing really cant take much more than about 150-160, even then a careful tune is needed. Same for the polks.
If you want more then my unprofessional opinion would be to bridge the Jl to the mmats in the fairing. Then replace the lowers with a good midrange and bridge the 4110 to those.

You could use DB Moto G2's or Euphoria EX6NCX's in the lowers. They are efficient enough to keep up with the MMats, and would not need a DSP.
Ndfastin,
Thanks for the reply. Since you are relatively close to me do you have either of those in the lowers of something I could hear? I would like to make more deliberate steps in the next progression of my build. I will also be in Daytona towards the end of bikeweek so I am also planning to hit some of the bike audio comps to see what a real system sounds like :-)

InthewindMN, I do value your opinion and had been wondering about putting that JLA back in play. Hopefully I can work with Ndfastln and listen to some of his speaker recommendations before pulling the trigger. I don't just want to throw more MMats in unless that is the best way to go. Looking for the right speaker for the right location like you guys preach! My end goal is to have the best sounding system without loosing bag space as I tour with my bike. I also realize I may have to swap every component I currently have with better components to achieve my end goal but for me its a journey and I for one appreciate all of the guys here contributing their experience and knowledge to the forum..
Thanks,
Randy

I don't have a bike here with those in it now, except one I'm working on that has (4) EX6NCD's, but I do have both of those speakers, here if you wan to see them.
