Fairing swap for road glide
New rear end with sealed and ported bags
New front end with native 180 kit
Mmats hifi amps
Speakers undecided other than faital 10's that are staying. Likely going with 6 Beyma 8's, but h sure which ones. Space and power will determine which ones I go with.
In an effort to quit lying to myself about the faitals staying, I ordered subs today.

So this is the tentative plan for now
Mmats AS10 Subs - Faital 10RS350 are my backup plan
Mmats 2000.2 amp for subs or faitals. Will run subs series parallel for 4 ohms to ease the load on the amp and give them about 400 each
Mmats Hifi 4250 amp for lowers, fairing, and lids
Lowers - Likely Beyma 8G40 ran bridged parallel to 1/2 of 4250
Fairing and Lids - Plan is to start with the GZ black neo 8's. Faring in parallel on 3 and Lids in parallel on 4
GZ compression tweeters in fairing gauge holes and lids ran off of Mmats 4110.

Limitless 15aH in pack and Braille G30H in the stock location.

Bike is in final stages of bodywork and front end work at Will Bohn's shop. Can't wait to get it done and start this audio build. Lowers, lids, and fairing could be a fluid situation of trying this or that. Plan is to get as much midbass out of the lowers and hit the fairing and lids with midrange and highs.

Change in winter build plans. We have a handful of us that are doing brand specific speaker builds for a BRP meet up in May. It will be very cool to see each manufacturer's characteristics & capabilities, how much of an impact tuning can have, airspace to spec availability & airspace management, instal details, speaker location, whether or not $$$ matters, etc. I'm predicting the product differences will not be extremely significant however fairly easily noticeable SQL & SPL character traits. Some may be inherently warmer, others w tighter bass or punchier, some significantly detailed, and others much stronger in the upper mid & high range. We will also have a couple different RTAs and a Term Lab to see what the watts and speakers deliver.

Thus far we are looking at setting up a surprise all "Area 51" build AKA a speaker company that not many have heard of, a Faital build, Mmats build, PRV build, and Beyma build.

Anyone wanting to roll in with their favorite brand exclusively loaded up in every speaker hole, shoot me a PM and we will hopefully get the dates and location to line up.

Looking forward to seeing how this all plays out!!! If anything, a fun new challenge and learning lesson about the brand characteristics and numerous other factors that can impact a setup.

I predict that a mid tier priced build performs the best re sound quality and that the least cost build surprises the shix out of a lot of folks.

Fun stuff!!!

Looking forward to this challenge. Most people always ask what is " the best" speaker? We all know this changes with all kinds of variables ie.. speakers, power, supporting speakers and of course tune! This is really a fun challenge, I will use some un-proven speakers and make it the best that I can. I will update as I pull my current system out and replace it with our mystery speaker brand!! Damn!!!, Fun Stuff!!

Is there a particular speaker count requirement for these builds? I'm mainly PRV already.

No sir. Run what u brung. If there are similar count setups and watts it will be cool to do side by sides w those to see the manufacturer character traits and also how far or aggressive a tune will have to go to get the best SQ possible.
