Panel Bond works well , but try 3M 08237. It's made for ABS and other plastics, bonds extremely well, sands easy, and dries in minutes instead of hours. It's great for dowels, bonding in speaker rings, or anything to ABS parts.

I am guessing to be honest, Jefe installed the rings and dowel for me. I just picked them up Saturday from his shop. I can wrench and wire but, I am not a body or fiberglass guy.

how thick is that 3M? Is it thick enough to be used similar to body filler to shape parts?

Sorry to get off topic, but is there a cheaper alternative to the $80 3M epoxy gun?

Just saw this post. Both the panel bond and the 08237 are about the same consistency, the 08237 may be a little thicker. They could be used as filler in small spots but it would be pricey as a filler and can shrink before fully cured. I think the 08237 has an advantage there as it cures much faster and is made for repairing plastics used in bumper covers as well as ABS and made to be primed and painted over.
