Hi folks. Getting a 2020 Standard and looking to put an audio system in. Saw Fat Head Cycle has a plug and play system (Sony 7000) head unit, wiring and speakers. They offer 2 speaker setups. Sony XS-Gs1621 or Rockford TMS65. I would appreciate feedback on the speakers. Or another brand. For now I am going with 2 in the fairing, maybe latter on put on lowers with speaker pods. thanks a lot.
What head unit would you use and match speakers? Thanks
How much $$$$ u budgeting for ur amp and 2 speaker setup?
Why did you select the Sony HU? There are a bunch of HUs that can be installed and really just depends on what u like and what ur needs are. I use a Alpine as I run one in my cage and it also had the features and plug ins that I desire on the sled. Find out what u need vs what comes up as a trend or what is readily available on a shelf. It may very well be the Sony 5000 or 7000.
Speakers will depend on what u listen to, ur budget, riding style, and amp & EQ capability.
My budget for a head unit, 2 speakers, wiring harness, and misc is $1000.
I chose that because I saw Fat head cycle put together s system that came plug and play and something I could install myself. I am open to any and all suggestions.

Just a suggestion and opinion punt Fatheads speaker options.. Sony HU - $600, Stinger 700/4 amp -$175, MMAts 601cx's - $220.... amp wiring kit Metra ST AK8 about $1050ish all in and you are set up well to move to a 4 speaker system down the road,,,

Yep, I second this set up. I think you would be way further ahead bypassing the Sony and the RF speakers and going this route. Should be a great sounding system with a little room for future upgrades if required.
I know many like the Sony head unit, keep in mind I have seen nothing from Sony to confirm that it is waterproof like most sellers are telling you, I am not sure if an older boom GT will work in the 2020 but you can buy a used one that IS waterproof for about the same money, just food for thought
