Anyone familiar with this place? (Magic City CustomWorx)
Has anyone used them for this service? You send them your stock lids and for $225 they will install the Rockford Fosgate grills and mounts for you (cost includes both lids). Does not include the RF speakers (or wiring)- which is perfect for a guy like me who wants to go a different speaker route in their lids (MMats PA690.4cx for me) without paying $500+ for speakers they don't want want. Saying turnaround is 1-2 days after receiving your lids.
On a related note: Does anyone know if you can purchase the RF grills/mounts along with the templates (no speakers) anywhere so I can mount them myself?
I know last year when I did the RF lid kit, they told me you can not buy just the mounting pieces. Meaning you have to buy the whole kit with the speakers.
I think it is just a matter of time before someone else copied the templates and offered them....perhaps this is the result.
called eastern performance they have that kit. they had that same part number listed as just replacement grilles but he said it should come with the same stuff the rockford kit says it comes with. so the mounting hardware and the grilles. also he said he was gonna update the website because he was under the impression it was just the grilles. It's around 90$
