Default Help mounting amp

I`m trying to mount amp for a friend. The 7.1 speakers were no problem. The bike is a 2010 classic, amp I am trying to mount is Biketronics BT-4180 .It has the factory HK radio and I must keep XM module. In pics you can see XM mounted on top of radio. When I put the amp on radio I can get the fairing back on ,but, not with the Xm module. If anyone has a few pics it would help. Or maybe just some info. The wire harness at the top hits bad with module on top.Maybe I need some type mounting plate? Thanks

It will take a little trial and error to get everything to fit.

Try sliding the XM module out toward the headlight some and run the wiring harnesses between the module and the gauges.

Relocate the XM under the radio and massage the location of the wiring harness and it’ll fit.

I put my CB module (and GPS power supply, and DSP, and ground loop isolators, and bluetooth module, and TR-4 turn on module, and a few other things I can see but cannot remember what they do) under the factory HK head unit and had room enough to mount my amp on top of the head unit. I also have sound deadening material on the inside of the fairing cover and it bolts up without forcing it. Here is a pic if it helps:

Now all I gotta do is find a spot to put the new iPod module I just got that sounds AWESOME...

Heh, see that little black baggie hanging out under the right speaker? That's the Metra bluetooth module I took out of the box it came in and sealed up. I just took an On The Move iPod module out of its box and it wraps up even smaller. The iPod module should tuck in around where the bluetooth one is now. I've just got to figure out if I can hide the extra wiring harness extension that goes between it and the head unit or if I will have to splice the five control wires from the iPod module into the harness extension on the bluetooth one.

That iPod module sounds great, I guess it's a direct digital signal injection into the brain of the head unit. Definitely worth working into the system if I can do it. It cohabitates just fine with the bluetooth module too.
