The only thing i do when i park for few days is plug in battery tender.
Anyone seen or heard of this issue? No fuses blown, never seen water.

Bought from Fat Heads, HD Shop did the original install. The first time, they replaced the head unit (under warranty), but before sending the first one back, they plugged it back in and it lit up. Then the new one did it. FatHeads sent me a new harness, I installed it myself, and it seems ok, although haven’t had time and weather to get out and run it for any amount of time.
I do want to say Fat Heads has been great, their tech guys are good with advice and info on the phone, and pretty quick shipping stuff. One fella I talked to said they’ve sold a ton of them (quoted figure of 2500-3000), said they hadn’t seen this issue. When it comes down to it, it can only be a head unit or a harness, that’s all there is.
On the bright side, the second event happened as all this COVID crap started, and the shop has been closed til this week (PA is being run by a tyrant). I have always been scared to work on my bike, (in spite of a dirt bike background), but with time available and YouTube videos, I did it myself, then got caught up in online shopping (the downside of lockdown), and bought new Polk speakers front and rear, and installed fronts today. Hard to tell difference since I haven’t ridden yet, but I’m pleased with myself. Rears come this week, figure those will be easy compared to fronts. Someone REALLY over-engineered that arrangement, but I pulled it off.
