SO my USB drive I've been using for a year now, and up until a few weeks or so ago worked fine...suddenly it will say "reading usb..." but it never finishes reading. Not really a problem other than you cant save albums to a preset key. I found a thread about this in the rushmore forum that said a radio rest might fix this, but was hesitant to try that yet. Not clear if that would also reset my 4 speaker/0 amp flash or not.
Anyone got any tips to fix this? Is this a bug introduced in a recent update? Although its been months since I installed any audio updates as far as I can remember. I can post the software version I'm using shortly.
Try replacing the USB drive. If that doesnt work you could try a reset. Ive never had the reset change the flash but it will erase anything saved to the hu like gps routes, playlists and settings.

Thanks, I dont care about presets and such. And I dont have any routes saved either..other than my home address. I was worried about the flash.
I may try another drive first. I bought the drive new to specifically use on the bike last year. Those things dont have moving parts, so unless you corrupt a file, they should last forever. lol
