Default REM (blue pwr) question

I cannot find a solid answer after doing a search. So the HU is running off it's own REM supply. I have a single amp that pulls REM pwr from the DC outlet(cig. Lighter factory outlet) it is okay to run another amp from the same REM pwr that is currently being used for 1 amp?
Thanks

You can run another REM wire from the same source OR you can piggy back from one amp to the next. BUT if the HU has a Remote out wire, that's what I'd be using for my remote. For the simple reason that if you turn the HU off, the amps go off as well. Running the remote from a keyed source will cause the amps to stay on as long as the key is on.

Thank you very much, that helps me know I am not going to screw things up.
