08 electraglide classic, my fairing speakers are pretty bad. Can i replace them with stock 2018/2019 RG speakers? Also would like to put a 4 channel amp in while i have it open for future rear speakers. Wanting a decent amp / good price, for a novice audio guy.
thanks
The tried and true kick in the pants budget set up is the Stinger and the PA601CX's. If you shop around, you can find the Stinger get as low as $150 at times, and the speakers are $200/pr. Don't waste your time on the HD junk. These speakers are light years better than any OEM Harley speaker.
Yep shop around for the Stinger 700 SPX and a pair of the Mmats 6.5" PA601.4cx.
you will also need some speaker adapters for your fairing. I usually use the Metra 82-9601 adapters.
You will also need a line level to RCA adapter to go from your HU to the Stinger amp. Plus you'll need an p wiring kit.
That should have you rocking.
There are cheaper speakers out there, but tough to beat those Mmats. They are damn good speakers. That Stinger is also a bargain. Great amp. It's a tried and true, well tested combo, that has suited many of us well.

that sounds like what i am looking for. Good sound but nothing crazy and in a mid price range. Thanks

Those Mmats are a bargain. They are well worth the price. It still amazes me how good they sound and how loud the can get. And the Stinger is well worth the price as well, especially if you find it on sale.
