I have seen a few threads on speakers but nobody seems to have handlebar mounted ones. I have an 01 dyna and that is basically my only option for tunes is my handlebars i suppose. Years ago i had the original HD boom audio system and it sounded good and all but it wasn't cheap and the controller broke after like a year. I also tried some random brand off amazon but they were hot garbage and even the slightest bass from rock and roll distorted the crap out of them. I saw HD has a newer version of the boom system and it is bluetooth and has a next track button, both of which i really would prefer.
Is there any system besides the HD one that is good? Also i don't have crashbars so cant mount anything there so it is handlebar mounts only it seems.
Earbuds might be your best option,or full face helmet with Bluetooth speakers in helmet.
I have a full face with speakers inside and the company that made the speakers is crap. I normally use a 3/4 or 1/2 helmet anyway for comfort and i use one earbud but its not exactly comfortable and even a little annoying, I really enjoyed the ease of having handlebar speakers before but dont want to get a crap product if i go that route again.
