I have a 2009 Road King and added a Stinger 700 amp.
6.5" speakers in lowers and speaker lids equipped with 6x9's.
The system is on the mild side, but really happy with the results.
The question I have is:
If I decide to upgrade the stator, what is the best upgrade from the stock one?
I'm Not having any issues, but thinking in the future....I might just get one ahead of time and I'll have it ahead of time.
Thanks for any input/recommendations on a better upgraded stator and info.
look at the stuff from Cycle Electric if you feel the need. i used their 3 phase kit and it worked out nice for me, with one or 2 light-middleweight amps, you probably wont need it.

LW your Road Kind doesn't have as many lights as the Ultras do and we have run two and three amps before running into trouble. On my 2010 U.C. I am dissipating around 1300 watts on my system spread among eight speakers and didn't run into trouble until extremely high volume when I had the high pass filter set too low on the 6x9s. I bumped the filter up to 110 Hz and haven't had any trouble since. The reason I got into trouble though is because I am using a cheap car amp to drive the 6x9s. If I had a higher quality (more efficient) amp I wouldn't have had any issues.

Thanks man!
Good info to know.
I'm one to "upgrade" if need be.
I feel you're right that the one amp won't put too much on the stock one, but once I open up the case in the future, I'd like to have a "better one" ahead of time waiting.
Thanks!

Hate to sound paranoid, just thinking ahead to have an upgraded one on my shelf in the future event.
I do have a little extra lighting (led kit, headlights & driving lights), but they draw less power as we know.
On my Bluetooth device (wet sounds), I normally have the volume at 3/4 to max at highway speeds, so that's what made my initial thinking of how much strain am I putting on it.
I'm definitely not even close to your U.C.'s set up, that's for sure.
Thank you for the info.
Hello everyone I have a question so Im running 4 amps 2 for my highs 1 for my mids and 1 for my subs I have
10- twitters
2- 5/2
2- 8s
2-10s
2- 6x9s
plus led lights
when Im riding my voltage goes up to 14 but when Im sitting at a light it runs down to 12 sometimes even 11.5 but if I have the bass turned up it doesnt even go to 14 it stays around 13.1 and my lights goes dim when my bass is on. So I went and bought a new battery but its still doing the same things and when I get Home if I dont plug it up it wont start the next day so my question is what kind of stator and or battery should I put in my bike because as of now its stock and should I also change out and upgrade the Regulator Rectifier . Thanks

what Battery are you running or should be batteries depending on the amp sizes.
