I might be wrong but Boom runs on 2ohm and I bet your JL Audio is 4 ohm. Boom Audio does not get much love here to be honest. I think you will need to get some Boom Replacement speakers or a replacement Amp. Good luck Niether way will be cheap.

Yup, the Boom amps are very proprietary (and suck too) thus they do not play well with aftermarket at all. Essentially not compatible.
Get a new amp.
but let me ask you guys something, should the techno research flash my amp as well for my new setup or it just flashes the radio for the eq curve? is this something that i have no choice to go ack to dealer with?

it just flashes the HU. A amp will just amplify what goes into it.
i don't think it works like that, we assume that a normal amp would just do that but in these bikes i've been doing some research, seem to me the amp changes eq output setting base on your setup, does any know know anything about this ?

an aftermarket amp doesnt change eq curves. The HU flash is what can change eq curves. Depending on what flash it may flatten it some.
yes an after market amp doesn't, but were talking about a brand new in the box boom amp from Harley,i think it needs the factory scant tool to program it to my bike, were im thinking the techno research would do it it seem it doesn't.
If volume is your issue, the 4ohm speakers you installed takes twice the amount of power to get you to the same place your 2ohm speakers were.
There is no amp flash. The hu flash is what changes the eq curve. If you have 1 Boom amp and 2 speakers, you're on the right flash. If you're married to the Boom amp, put the Boom upgrade speakers in it and call it a day.
If you want a good sounding system with volume, start over. You're going down a dead ended rabbit hole the way you started.
the Techno Research tool can flash whatever you need. however as it's been said your issue is trying to use a BOOM amp with 4 ohm aftermarket sepakers and it just doesnt work out well, period. either get the boom speakers installed, or get an aftermarket amp, flash it and roll.
