sound dropping out

sound dropping out

Hey Guys

Any help would be great.
my 2017 streetglide cvo boom 6.5
sound is dropping out (on all speakers) then comes back on for a while then off. any Ideas appreciated. I have heard it could be a cold solder connection on the board inside radio.

Check you settings and volume prompts for the GPS.

It is a common issue if after using the GPS and not ending the route that the GPS will keep wanting to take you back to the last destination. If the turn by turn prompts are turned down if will shut the music off and tell you to redirect your course but if the volume is down you wont hear it.

Thnnks for that I just discovered same and was going to post for all. That is an awesome fix for a dumb move (on my part) just have not used nav before)

ps I cleared my routes on the gps. That did the trick for me.

Similar audio problem

I’m having a similar audio problem on my 2014 ultra limited 6.5 GT boom box. Sound will randomly drop out on all 4 speakers for about 2 seconds then it will come back on. It does this on any input, FM radio, media player (usb) or Bluetooth from iPhone.
I thought maybe it just needs to have the latest software update so I tried that but problem still there. I just read another post about checking some settings in the navigation menu so I’ll be checking on that tomorrow. Any ideas appreciated.
