Popular go to is the Metra 82-9601. It gives you a few different mounting options. For what it's worth, I'd toss them braces to the side and never let em cross my mind again. I don't run em and I've had no issues.

Yep, currently running the Metra 82-9601 adapters on my 05 Ultra with the Mmats speakers as well. May have to rotate the speakers so the capacitor doesn't interfere with the fairing brackets. I have mine mounted with the caps at the top.
