Anyone purchased the new Sena HD headsets? I picked up a pair and they do sound very good. Much better in my opinion with better volume. What is weird is the HD/Sena device manager after upgrading to the latest version, does not have the option "Enable HD Speaker Accessory" and you can only perform tweeks and updated through the HD/Sena app.
Also, any and all support from Sena seems to be non-existent. WTF is with these places with no support? I get so tired of this ****.

Any thoughts here??
I have the new HD headsets on order and they should arrive on Wednesday, From what I have read and heard, these are a complete game changer or they finally do what they are supposed to do. I have the Harley 30K and they are on a different software release path than the regular 30K Sena. We are on 2.2 and Sena just released 3.1 to support the HD headsets with new audio settings. So, the questions is how long HD needs to make a new upgrade available. I will call their support line.
I just bought the new speakers for me and the wife, haven't tried them yet though. we have the HD 20s EVO's, hopefully they sound better, I see that SENA has a software update for them, HD does not seem to have that, that i can find anyway....

I just spoke with HD customer service and they are aware of this topic. Seems that more people have already called in but like always they are not making a commitment when the support for the HD speakers is going to be released.
I installed the new HD speakers and they DO sound better than the OEM 20s Evo...BUT there is NO provision in the Sena/Harley device manager to activate the high def speakers...WTF? Between Harley and Sena, someone is asleep at the wheel (bars?). So, I guess we just wait...and wait, and wait somemore for these dick heads at both companies to get on the ball.
Here is what I got from Sena today...
Thank you for the prompt response.
With regard to your concern, unfortunately the update for the OEM and Harley brand units are not yet released, We have not received any update yet when it will be release but you can still use the HD speaker.
Is there anything else I can assist you with aside from this?Best regards,
I asked Harley Davidson customer service about a HD branded 30K firmware update when Sena released a version for the non-HD stamped 30k’s, back in May. At that time, their was no plan to update the HD stamped 30k’s firmware.
I have a HD 30K, non-HD 30K and a 50S. All have the latest versions of firmware installed. I cannot use the HD 30K in mesh mode with a non-HD stamped 30K or 50S with the latest version of firmware installed.

I installed them in my helmet last night, haven't done the wifes yet, i listened to a few songs before and after, they are for sure better already.
I rode 300 miles yesterday with the new headsets and they are definitely better than the original. Wondering how they will improve when the slugs at Sena and Harley get their **** together and release software for these units...
