Ok, here is a pic of mine. Do you experienced guys thing the Dayton will fit in the cubby? Right now its being used to stuff cabling in, but a little tie up work cold fix that. The only issue I can think of is the power side of my EX4 is on the clutch side. Probably not a huge deal with quality rca cables and tusa tape.
GS
The Dayton is a no go in the cubby unless you get the cutting utensils out and do some surgery.
You can get 3 amps and a DSP in a 14 and up batwing with the stock amp tray and stock headunit.
Amp tray has a 1200.4 evox, 250.2 and a Dayton dsp-408. 800.4evox in the clutch side cubby.
This one has a sony Headunit, JM amp tray
With 3 amps and DD DSI-2 dsp.
JL 600/4 on tray,MMATS 4110 under amp tray,SD250.2 on clutch side bracket and DD DSI-2 in clutch side cubby.
I just wanted to close this thread with the final outcome. I was not successful with original config of the 2400 running vertical. Not saying it can't be done, but I couldn't make it work. I had to modify the stock amp tray and fit the DSP in the clutch side cubby and run the 2400 horizontally on the amp tray. Thanks again guy for the feed back.

That 2400.4 is a little large to fit behind the headlight. A 1200.4 evox is snug
