Thanks. I sent him a pic of the other end. Not sure I took pics of the neck side of the frame.

Oh so it's that slot in the middle, not the hole below it? That looks real useful.

That's correct. It's actually more of a rectangle when you're looking at it from the front.

Thanks. With all the junk I've got in there on my bike it might be a fight to get to it but I think in the long run it'll be worth it. How many and what gauge wires were you able to fit through one side? I think your bike is basically the same as mine.

Like i said. It was easier for me to start at the neck side with the rebar. BUT..i have a RG, so the fairing turned to the left all the way made it easier to get to.

I put two 8awg power and ground wires through along with the power and ground wire for the DSP. All through the right side. I assume there is also a hole on the left side of the bike as well, so a ton of wiring can be run through the frame.

Thanks y'all that's a big help. I suspect getting the power wires away from the signal carrying ones would help minimize interference, maybe even help FM reception.

I wish we had a repository of organized photos of builds in process we could contribute to. Sometimes when we've got stuff tore apart we don't always think to take pictures, but when we do it could sure help folks get a visual idea of what's possible.

Mine is currently apart as I'm tidying up the last bit of my wiring. I could take some pics for you if you like.

I'm assuming then that this relates to all years of touring frames as teed's bike is a Rushmore & Bates has a pre-Rushmore. Can you confirm?
