I have a 2014 TG Ultra I am having a problem with the track forward/back button. It works OK for the radio channels, but doesn't work with a thumb drive. I'm hoping it's not the whole switch. If I go into the menu/tracks on the right handlebar, I can use that switch to go to/from the music tracks. Any ideas?
Check how you have the control configured. Sounds like you have the left thumb control set to "preset" and not "seek". This is from page 81 of the 2015 Boom! Box Owner's Manual....
PLAY PREVIOUS/NEXT MEDIA FILE (OR PREVIOUS/NEXT PRESET)
Depending on the configuration, the PREVIOUS/NEXT hand control switch will either advance through each song individually, or through each preset that is programmed for the device.
1. Select Home > Media > Menu.
2. Press the multiselect button to show Seek (to advance through each song) or Preset (to advance through each preset).
3. Press the PREVIOUS/NEXT hand control switch to advance to the previous or next song (or preset) in the device.
That worked. I don't know how in the world that Preset button got pushed. Maybe someone was pranking me. Works fine now. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
