Just depends on the model of Polks that you had. But as the old saying goes...Cheap audio isn't good and good audio isn't cheap.

I don’t have the bike completely back together yet, but it sounded pretty good (much better than stock)with the stock head unit before, so with the new unit I’m sure it will sound even better.
You do get what u pay for, but I try to be practical... I’ve heard the thousand dollar systems, and my $300 dollar system does the same thing, it plays music I can hear when riding... haha

That PN4.1000d is a great budget amp. I've run one in several different configurations and it never got hot. If you make a mistake it will turn itself off to prevent damage. Can't ask for much more than that for a little over $100. The only thing I didn't like about it was it fried just about all of my FM reception. Now that it's in a saddlebag that isn't a problem anymore though.
