Default Using whim + Senna

Hi.
It's me again asking dumb questions because I'm so unsure of what direction I want to go.
If I have a WHIM plus branded Senna either 20 or 30 installed, am I still able to communicate with other riders using their wired Boom systems?
I assume I can because I think I read or heard someone say that I still have CB connectivity with my BT Senna helmet as well as using the Mesh system Senna supplies. Yes?

Once again, thanks for your thoughts

Do you currently have a working CB with a wired headset? If yes, then yes.

I thought about getting a WHIM for my 2013 Ultra and wiring it internally like some folks have mentioned for the winter months, but the dang things are so expensive I just use a wired headset in those few occasions where I wear a full face helmet.

If you do go with the WHIM Doc let us know what you think of the sound quality. Most helmet headsets I've tried sound very tinny and screechy so to speak. I have heard that some of the newer bluetooth units have apps with basic equalizers you can use on your phone to tune them to your liking. I'm afraid I don't know which headsets they are though.

That being said if you connect your bluetooth headset directly to your phone instead of the Boom Box then I suspect you could use your phone's built in EQ settings to tailor the sound to your liking.

I didn't mean to murky the waters on your issue I just like to hear what folks find out with these headsets. I have a decent audio system on my bike but these days more and more folks are getting into the bluetooth gig for various reasons (communications especially).

Good luck
