Currently running GZ yellow coax off a B52 in fairing and 4 MMats pa690.4cx off a evox 800.4 in lids . I'm wanting some more bass from my setup. Is it possible to run a 8 or 10 in my bags without sealing the lids? And if so what speaker would be recommended?
Any recommendations on easiest way to seal off the lid speakers? I'd still like to be able to have at least a little space in my bags to throw a small bag or jacket.
You could baffle the 6x9's and run either 8's or 10's in the bags, or remove the 6x9's and use either sealed backs, compression horns, or a combination of both n the lids, and 10's in the bags.

These may work. I haven't personally tried them. This would be your easiest way to keep what you have.
Might be tough now that I remember you are running dual 6X9. Probably better off getting adapter plate and running some 6.5 sealed backs or 6.5 with buckets and throw a horn in there.
I ran the GZCK 200spl Yellow baskets 8's in my bags with DD VO 6x9's in the lids! I tried it without baffles and with baffles on the 6x9's using the Design Engineering 050380 Boom Mat 6x9 baffles also I just purchased the Metra 81-6900 that Shocker posted! I could not hear much difference when comparing the two (baffled and unbaffled)! The foam Design Boom Mat baffles muffled the VO's sound so i had to make some vents in the baffles to let them breath and that helped! I just put in the GZCK 250Xspl 10 inch yellow's in with a SD 1200.1 and might try the Metra baffle which are hard plastic compared to the Boom Mats which are foam...The 10's really hit HARD, you might consider 10's, although you lose a little more space...decisions decisions... good luck bro!
