2020 RGS. My thoughts on a setup. Keep stock head unit and have it flashed at my Rockford dealer to flat. Want to go with ground zero yellows up front then add hertz sx 690 neos in the bags. I am honestly lost on an amp. Was thinking a biketronics 2250 amp. Then add a Rockford dsr1, if needed. Dsr is new stuff to me and not sure if it will be ok without it, always try it without first then add if needed. This setup should keep things in my price range of wanting to spend. If Im way off base or looking at something wrong please let me know, that is why I am asking for advice and help.
Identical setup I have planned to be installed here real soon. I lm powering each set of speakers w a 800x4 evox bridged. Pretty common setup
I would like to add that the reason I'm running two 800x4 is I had to send mine back to SD got impatient and bought another so now I have two
Maybe a 1200x4 would be less money and could push 300 to each one max.. these guys will know the best route..
Also take a look at the diamond mp654 and diamond ms69cx.
from my dealings the gz will be more full and we'll rounded where the mo654 play much louder less bass. The ms69cx was a option as well but pulled the trigger on the hertz as they are waterproof diamond are not. Hertz will have louder mid bass voice and mids the diamond has that ti tweeters which will sound louder.
I still may pull the trigger on the mp654 and see what sounds better to me. The gz are an easy sale right now..
These guys on here will help ya
