Hi
Can someone please help me with my audio upgrade...
2010 Dragonfly fairing for my Road King Classic
I am looking to replace: radio, speakers and the amplifier that would fit into its original " cutouts "
speakers are 6x9
Thank you for your help
I think OP said they are 6x9. Is this the fairing here? I guess some starting questions are what is it you do and don't like with what you have now? Do you have an amp in there or is it just the HU driving the speakers (Dragonfly do have amp packages and amp mounts for some Focal amps they sell)? Will you be looking to put speakers in the bags? The fairing is detachable. Will it stay on the bike all the time? Once there is a better idea of what you have and hope to accomplish there are guys here with lot's of experience with a wide variety of different products at different price points that can help with suggestions.
Ahh missed it. Yes 6x9 speakers. He said he wants to replace hu, amp and speakers. Just wanted to make sure what space he has available for a different amp.

its all good. I missed he had an amp (and therefore an amp mount I guess).
The existing radio had some water damage and it seems that it cannot be fixed. To me, it's a good opportunity to upgrade.
I have tried to contact Dragonfly directly many times and left many emails, voicemails, etc. but I have never heard back that's why I resorted to this forum for some advice.
I have the detachable fairing which stays on all the time. The amp is located within the fairing and I don't have saddlebag speakers. The existing speakers are 6x9.
Basically, I am trying to do a full audio system overhaul and willing to spend some $$$ on it.
