I see a lot of posts saying stage II speakers suck. The dealership does not seem to know exactly what I need (said I shouldnt need any amps as my bike already has them - I dont believe this is correct.).
I want to upgrade fairing speakers, upgrade my tour pack speakers and add saddlebags, and add lower fairing speakers. If I could figure out how to add bass that would be a huge plus.
Any suggestions out there? Is aftermarket the best place to go? If so what do I need? Thanks for the help.

Going to subscribe to your thread. I'm interested in this as well. I went for a pretty long ride yesterday and the audio on my '18 CVO Street Glide is garbage. Very sad you pay this kind of coin for a bike and the MoCo can't put a decent stereo system in it. I would like to be able to keep the HU, replace the speakers/amps & not have to splice into too many wires. Budget?? I think I'd like to stay around $1000. I'm pretty mechanical. I've done audio in my '09 Ultra. I'll see what your budget is and what the pro's suggest for you.
So I called a local Audio place that does cycle audio. They sell a Rockford Fosgate plug and play system of the BOOM II in my '18 CVO. Wonder if this is simply the system they are now putting in the '21 CVO's... No speaker size changes, current amps are replaced with 1 RF amp in the fairing.
