Fwiw - I'm not sure if using the full length Tourpak antenna makes the difference, but my experience running a SD800.4S and a SD1200.4 EVOX presented no issues with the FM. I don't listen to FM much, but I'm not getting much in the way of interference.

That's interesting to know. Do you live in a city where there are several radio stations close by? Most folks I have talked to running SD amps have noticed a decrease in reception but I never asked them what type of antenna they were running. The type and location of the antenna definitely makes a difference. When I put the old style steel whip antennas on my 2010 (which came with the shorter fiberglass ones) I noticed a slight increase in reception.
Im running my antenna under the seat and with the SD amp I get virtually no stations. Stinger amp with same antenna no issues that I could tell.
Edit: I will say, I noticed the newer antennas.....not sure when they changed..... are not steel anymore. My 17 was steel. My 20 is not. When I reversed my antenna under my seat on the 20, some time later I had the seat off and noticed the tip had broken about 6" from the top. Not sure either of those discoveries would matter with FM reception SD amp or not.
I am in the same boat. The 1220 and the 2400 to almost all of mine out. Before the install. I could get most local stations sitting ( 8/10) in the garage, now only 1 or 2......dont really use it as I use Iheart for my local stations
Run two 800x4 bridged or a 1200x4 . Grab a 800x4 now and when you get your 6x9 grab another 800x4
For yellow baskets up front and 6x9's in the rear? Here we go again with bad advise. The 1200.4 is good 2 800.4's is bad. Just overkill for 4 speakers.
Stock HU with RF flash, b52 amp and the PAC sni-15.
Its loud , clean sound but kinda high pitch for me
The b-52 runs around 200w to each channel and that maybe your problem as the mmats start getting tinny above 150w or so. I suggest turning down the gains. Use a volt meter and dial them in at 3/4 volume to around 24-24.5 volts. They wont be as loud but you will hear the difference in SQ.

I'm about 30 miles out of Chicago and I can get most of them. There really aren't any good stations anymore, with the exception of WXRT which I can pull in just fine. However, I typically ride towards Wisconsin and they all tend to fade pretty quickly, so I normally just use 320kb MP3's and CD's.

After the flash , removing the bt355 and putting the PAC nsi-15 , and using a volt meter , the most volts I get coming out the amp is 18v using the 1k-5bd test tone. So I set the gains by ear. Before I had the gains set at 24v.
When using the pac nsi 15 it s the a different way to set the gain
