Just be sure to set your gains to around 34.5 volts BEFORE you hook the speakers up. That will give you around 300w to each speaker. Without a dsp in play you dont want to send 400w to those speakers.

I honestly wouldn't want to send them 300 without a DSP.

You are probably right as I have not personally run them with that power without a dsp. With that being said, to the OP set your volts to 33 and that will give you around 260-275 w to each.

Everything is hooked up and ready to go. Volts set at 33 and frequency is at 1100 o'clock . One thing I have to add is, I set the gains with the bike not running 33v , I checked the gains with the bike running and amp output went up to 43.5 v. I reset the gains with the bike running. I don't know if that's because of the RF flash, I'm thinking it does.

Now the crossovers, can someone give me a quick rundown of setting them?

The voltage went up as when the bike is running it produces 14.5 volts instead of 12 when off. The more you feed, the higher the results. Set the hpf on and the dial around 80. You can tweak it from there up or down just so you dont have distortion with lower frequencies.

And move the switch to HPF. I'd start it at 100hz without using a dsp and ease my way down from there. You may make it to 80hz anyway but there's a chance you may not.

I get what your saying with the 14.5v instead of 12V ,only makes sense. With more volts when running, wouldn't it be better to set the gains with the DMM with bike running, and do the finial adjustments by ear, instead of set gains with a DMM with bike not running then running to make final adjustments by ear? . Isnt there a chance of blowing speaker setting gains while bike off first?

Don't anyone take that the wrong way, Im not calling anyone out, I'm just curious.
