Everything is installed. What amp output volts would be a good starting point? I have the speakers hook up ,not bridged I'm waiting for the rca cables needed so I can run the bridge. also where to start with the frequency? around 80?
Thanks all
If they are not bridge, then 132 watts is where you will end up on a 800.4 evox, wired for stereo on 4 ohms.....when bridged, shoot for 200, what ever sounds good to you. Some of the other guys that run them without DSP's will chime in on the max target
19994594[/url]]Yes. There is not a 2 channel input feature thus u have to fill all the RCA holes on the amp.

T when bridging an 800.4 all 4 rca outputs must be used? I didnt know that I thought that only 2 were needed for 2 speakers. Diagram wasnt clear in that. Well, something else I screwed up on... thx for the heads up.

If ur using all 4 channels of the amp u need all 4 input holes filled or the out channels won't have a signal. When bridging u are technically using all 4 out channels in some regard.
I received this cable today, and I'm assuming red plugs can to can go to channel 1,2 and blue ends go to 3,4 or vise versa? When bridging the speakers, Im running from the right speaker - speaker wire to - on channel 1 and + wire to channel 2 + - wire from from left speaker to - channel 3 and + wire to + on channel 4 .
Im not 100% but I thought its 1 and 3 then 2 and 4 together when bridging.
Im researching getting ready to try to install this for my first time, I think that is what I read.
No need to invest too much into researching bridged wiring on the 800.4 as it's written right on the speaker output panel.
Also, if ur planning on bridging and paralleling, have a peek at the specs as I don't think that amp is 2 ohm stable when bridging. Only 4 ohm thus u would have to parallel 8 ohm speakers, not 4 ohm speakers. Not sure what model u have but think the EVOX 800.4 is 4 ohm stable. .

That is correct. Only 1 set of 4 ohm speaker or 2 sets of 8 ohm speakers parallel can be bridged off a 800.4.
