So after a few days waiting for back orders to come in I went and changed everything… ordered 3 sets of gz yb 6.5 and a set of db drive 6x9 along with 2 sd 800.4 amps… so I’m left with a couple questions… and yes I have a dsp to go along with everything already on my bench…
1. can I bridge the 4 in front to 2 channels on the amp? Along with 4 in rear to 2 channels on the second amp?
2. will the gz yb 6.5 speakers fit in the hogtunes lower pods (2015 Ultra Limited with wet heads)?
yes 8 speakers all 4 ohms… my concern with that is will I have enough to power all 8
Based on the 800.4 EVO X ur gonna get each speaker 147 watts at 14.4 volts. A lil light for the GZs but if ur already pregnant with those supplies u have to run what u brung.
Two 1200.4 2 ohm would have been a better play. U could have bridged & paralleled off of those and gotten each speaker 300+ each.

i couldn’t pass up the price of the 800.4s… I’m not trying to achieve super loud just super clean

I totally get it brother. Run what you have and see how u like the results.
But just remember that u cannot bridge & parallel the 4 ohm amp in an attempt to puff up the watts a bit thus ur pretty much stuck with straight up traditional wiring of ur 8 speakers to 8 channels.

I have zero problem running it 8/8 especially with the dsp I just don’t want to under power them and have them sound horrible… I’ve spent way too money already chasing this dragon…

These are the type things you have to take into consideration when buying components for your system. Yes price becomes a factor but if the deal is not best suited for your needs, deal or not you've wasted those dollars.
