Default 2020 RGS Speaker Install

All,
I have a new 2020 Road Glide Special. Getting ready to start on my audio upgrade. I am leaving the stock head unit in place because it works so well with all the systems on the bike (tpms, etc...). For the bags, I have some Advanblack speaker lids and MMats PA690.4cx's. For the front, I have some Ground Zero GZCF6.5SPL's, a Sound Digital 1200.4EVOX-4 ohm, and a Rockford Fosgate DSR1 dsp. I have the Rockford RFK-HD14 kit for the wiring and amp shelf. I know I need to cut the pods to get the speakers to fit. Any advice or templates on this? I have researched and it seems I need to use Dynamat or the like to go back over the hole created for install on the front speakers?
Any and all advice welcome

Nah man. If you put a little grease or something around the edge of the magnet and stick in the pods, you'll see exactly where you need to cut the relief. You'll need to cut out a rib or two first though I believe. I had some pics of my mmats I put in my 17. It would be about the same. I'll see if I can find them.

Grease as an indicator is a great idea.
Thanks

Now that I think about it. Once you get the ribs cut out pushing the speaker in hard enough a s twist it a bit and I bet it leaves a mark where it hits.

The GZ's will require a bit bigger relief hole than the Mmats. Just put GZ's in place of Mmats yesterday. Here's a pic....

Dremel tool. Just go slow speed or the plastic will melt a bit. No big deal, just doesn't create a clean cut and you'd need to go back and clean the edges up.

+1 on the dremel tool. I used a small "cut-off" wheel that actually made a fairly clean cut. Cleaned up the edges a bit with a file.

Was using a Dremel or a small grinder, switched to a variable speed oscillating multi cutter with a half moon blade on the last few, works well also
