2016 SE Sreetglide
bought my gear from Garage Bagger and very happy with service. Will most likkly go back to Chris for upgrade.
current set up is:
stock HU flashed by garage bagger
DSR1
imagination 6x9’s in lids
SD 600.4 I think might be 800.4
forgot name of speakers in the fairing but the have a tweeter in the grill and cross over included in kit
I think I blew up one of the 6x9’s, probably from my poor tuning capabilities.
the volume was ok but sound quality was meh
im looking for overall more volume and much better sound quality for about 2k.
Not sure I have the capability to fit another amp in fairing as it pretty jammed so assuming I would ditch the current SD and replace with 1200.4.
thinking SD 1200.4, yellow buckets in fairing and Herts nano 690 (??) in lids.
The SD 1200 /DSR1 would be a good setup bridged with a set of GZ's in the fairing and Hertz neo's in the lids.....would be interested in what amp you have in there now

I'm interested in the bridged comment on the GZs. I just ordered my equipment from Garage Bagger as well. I got the SD 800.4, GZ yellow baskets in fairing, Hertz SX 165 NEO in tourpal pods with DSR1. I didn't bridge as I'm not sure how it works. Sounds good so far.

If you're running all of those speakers on that amp then you can't bridge. You'd need to add another amp.

+1 on what Bates said.
IF you're going to stay with a 4 speaker setup and you already have an 800.4, you could add another 800.4 that would work they fit nice in the SG fairing ( DSR1 in clutch side cubby). One bridged for GZ's and one bridged for pods ( not sure it's necessary to bridge). Pretty sure you could do just one 1200 also, others can chime in. You'll have to run another 8ga of power and ground for 2nd amp, or I believe you would have to change to 4ga for the 1200 not sure. Either way you're redoing some wiring. IF you plan on adding down the road then this all changes... Good Luck
