Tried doing a forum search but couldn't find anything
On my 2017 Ultra Limited, the voice recognition commands for the radio / phone are no longer recognizing the basic commands like "tune to satellite channel xxx" or "Call Home". I'll either get the voice prompt back like "Pardon?", telling me to give a new command or it will change the radio to some random AM station.
Any idea what this could be or tips how to fix it?
Weird that this has happened to me intermittently recently. I know the left switch pack works, and the can bus is working, because all the other functions work. But, if I turn off the bike for a few minutes it comes back. I wonder if the contacts need cleaned for the voice command switch? There was another thread, that I can’t find, where someone took the pack apart and the contacts were corroded. It didn’t look that difficult to do.
If you are using the hardwired system, first thing I would check is that the plug has not become partially dislodged from your helmet or the bike.
Thsts shouldnt matter. Because when you push the button, and hold it for a while, with the phone connected by Bluetooth, then you should invoke Siri and that didnt happen with mine.

The plugs are in good shape and everything else with the headsets work, so I know that's not the problem. Also, I can activate SIRI on my iphone with the comm button.
I think I'm going to do the factory reset on the radio and see if that does the trick
