The mmats 601cx would be a very good upgrade and run fine on that amp. You might even be able to run the GZ's but not sure it would be enough power. Some here are running those with less than 200 watts each.
How old are those kappas? I had one blow as well in my last bike right at a year. They replaced under warranty but I never installed them. I went with the mmats and was very happy I did.

Correction cracked housing
A few years, maybe 5 at most.

Also have a pair of the Mmats in TP pods. At half volume out on the road, my wife asks me to turn it down. I'm more than happy!
