Look up aggressive audio on facebook. He can get you a complete parts list and beat most anyone's prices. He wont steer you wrong. Stand up guy!
Talking to a local audio shop they gave me a quote for arc speakers all the way around and using the Arc Moto720 amp with less labor costs than hd quoted.

I hope its a reputable bike audio. Car audio shops usually have no business doing bike audio. Make sure they dont hack up your wiring harness and stuff.

So my local shop wants to do this. They do car audio but also know bike audio. I asked if they know about flashing the radio through HD and they said with the SC6 I wouldn't need the flash? Does the flash add menus on the radio or does it just tell the radio that I have an amp?

The SC6 is a Line Output Converter. It converts the high-level speaker output from your radio to a low-level RCA input for the amp. That amp doesn't need a LOC as it will take either high-level or low-level inputs. Some here would still recommend using a LOC and use low-level amp inputs but you don't need one that fancy (a pair of PAC SNI-35s will do just fine). I personally would not use a LOC at all if the amp can take high-level inputs.

You will still need to get the HU flashed. The flash is typically used to flatten out the horrible Harley EQ, program the HU for the proper number of speakers and amps, and enable front/rear fade (if desired). A popular flash used often here is the Rockford Fosgate flash.

I'd keep asking questions and maybe find an audio shop that's a little more experienced with Harley audio.
