Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I've visited here since my setup has been unchanged for a few years. However, I recently upgraded to a new Musway M4+ amp that has a bult-in DSP and flashed the radio with teh Rockford Fosgate flash and no longer need the BT-355 line levelers anymore (yeah!)

I tried searching for some guidance on setting the crossovers for my speakers but I guess they are too old because I couldn't find any posts (either that or my ability to search just sucks LOL). The vendor who sold me the amp recommends starting at 150Hz for 6.5" and 80Hz for 6x9. If I recall correctly, I think I can go lower than that a bit but can't find the info anywhere.

- I'm using DD AW 6.5 mid-range woofers in the fairing with the BT30 tweeters (using inline passive crossovers) on a bridged GZRA at 200w (150w RMS, 50hz-14khz range, 90.5db sensitivity)
- Bags are Pioneer TS-6900Pros on the MUSWAY at 100w (100w RMS, 600w Peak, 29-40khz range, 92db sensitivity)
- Tour pak is Polk MM652s on the MUSWAY at 100w also (100w RMS, 300w Peak, 40hz-40khz range, 93db sensitivity)

I seem to remember the Pioneers could be crossed as low as 60Hz on a 24db slope but I'm not sure about the 6.5s. Any help would be appreciated.

Rick

If it were me, I'd run the AW's @100hz for starters and see where I'd go from there. You may get them down to 90hz. I don't recall the Pioneer being able to go down to 65hz. If my old *** memory serves, 80hz is the sweet spot.
