Default Adding rear pods

I have a 2013 Electra Glide Classic and have been running a Cerwin Vega B52 and Infinity Kappas with the HK head unit. This set up is plenty for me. My wife decided that she wants the Rivco arm rests which mount behind the speaker pods, that I don't currently have. So, I'm looking to get the speaker pods and arm rests. Am I able to hook up the rear speakers in parallel with the front speakers and amp? Would there be enough sound to hear them if I just hooked them up to the head unit? The rear speakers aren't something that I need, especially since I take the tour pak off when she isn't with me, but if they are going to be there I want her to be able to hear them. Is this something that I will have to get a different amp and speakers for? This looks like it's turning into a really expensive arm rest and cup holder.

The problem you may encounter is that the Kappas are somewhere between 2-3 ohms as far as resistance goes. I sold my 6.5" but my 6x9s are I think around 2.5 ohms. so if you wire up another set of Kappas you will be below a 2 ohm load.

I was wondering if another set of Kappas would lower the resistance too much. Has anyone had the front speakers hooked up to the amp and just ran the rear speakers directly from the head unit? Would you be able to hear the rear speakers at all that way? I'm just hoping for a way to do this without having to get a new amp and speakers. If the rear speakers can be heard from the head unit, I could get a set of used pods with stock speakers. If I have to get a different amp and speakers, any recommendations? Something possibly still using the Kappas?

FWIW my SO gets most her sound from the front speakers (I think she said mostly my lowers). Says she can hear the pods but that's not where the majority of the sound comes from. I find that odd as when the bike is still the pods are loud and clear so it's surprising to me that even sitting on top of them she doesn't get much from them.
