looks nice! how bright are the lighted controls? I've been eying them, but read somewhere, here maybe, that they are not worth it, as you can barely see the lighting...
their only worth is they are cheaper as a set than stock left control should you have to replace it due to clutch switch failure.
hmmmm does the bike keep an accurate date n time when not used?
my ladies street bob loses its d&t regular and has done since ownership never touch the battery and our bikes live on optimates when not in use
Does background and eq change also? (wondering if your constant 12v wire is to blame)

I cant say for sure as I havent ridden at night with it yet. I more so added them for volume controls. I think they will be bright enough at night but just cant say for sure. I have to get a couple of other things working that I lost when I switched from the police controls.

I can tell you the lighted controls are great if you're riding at night or predawn hours. Easy to see, no guessing. I feel it was money well spent, but if you rarely ride at night or early morning hours you may have a different opinion.
Dig through this post, I know they mentioned having to switch a wire around to get the horn to work. I know I switched one under my seat and the horn works with the new lit hand controls. I can look through the wiring diagrams later to see if I can figure out which one I switched (it's probably the same but I did it before reading that post).
