So you are saying that a set of Hertz SX 165 Neo in the fairing will be louder and be able to handle more power?

I only ask because I have the option to out either in the fairing and right now I'm planning on the GZ

Ok, I forgot this was a Road King so I'll defer to others for advice. But the Hertz NEOS are more efficient and louder speaker at lower power and so are the mmats. GZ's need more power to play as loud so the end result may be at 70 or 80 miles an hour the GZ's won't be as loud as the others with 150 watts.

I think if you have enough amp to feed the GZ's, they will play lower and louder than at least the mmats anyway. Not sure about the hertz.

Which is why I asked how much amp did he have. at 200 or 250, they will be louder and still play low.

It's in this thread....
800.4 EvoX is rated at Power @ 12.6V @ 4Ω: 4 X 132 WRMS and Power @ 14.4V @ 4Ω: 4 X 147 WRMS

I was responding to your response to fastsoup who kinda hijacked the thread. I assume he was asking for himself.

Even so, the OP asked about bridging the 800.4, which would give him enough power to push more than 150 watts to those gz's

Bridge Power @ 12.6V @ 4Ω: 2 X 400 WRMS and Bridge Power @ 14.4V @ 4Ω: 2 X 446 WRMS

I would bridge the GZ's at 29.5 volts which should be around 225 watts if you are just running these in the fairing. Set the hpf crossover at 90 to be safe.

I set my phone volume at 3/4 which is a 11 bars from 15 being at full volume. I ran the 1kh 0db test tone Via bluetooth from my phone and set my gains/target voltage at 28.3 volts which is 200 watts bridged crossover at 80hz on HP and I will tell you it's ****ing loud!! and that's not even turning the volume up to full while playing a song/track say from spotify or pandora!! So I'm debating on rollin with it, but I'm also hesitant because I don't want her calling me later this riding season telling me there's something wrong with my speakers?

Are you using a line out converter?
