I personally will be sticking with my hdhu14, the features this unit adds are not worth the added cost for me, especially the fact that you need to fork out even more money on top of the unit itself...

$200 dollars for my Alpine or $1300 for the new soundstream, hmmm, think I'll stick with my alpine.

the Alpine water tight?? I have the hdhu14, not only is it amazing, but it's nice not stressing over getting stuck in the rain...

nope its not waterproof, but have had no issues with it for 2 years now. And I can buy 6 of them for the price of one of the soundstreams. And I'll bet my Alpine plays just as well.

I’ll be upgrading to this unit along with the Hertz amp and Infinity Kappa speakers from VA. I’ve been saving for this. I want to be able to see more bike info than what I can on the gauge dash. I have the Sony 7000 today and have had some issues with it when wet or doesn’t recognize my phone until I cycle power on the bike. Hoping this unit is more reliable.
