hello, I down loaded 513 songs to a 256kg usb stick, when I put it in my 2020 limited it is only reading 436 songs, anybody have ideas how to fix this thanks.

Are they all mp3? Maybe you have flac files mixed in. And thay usb must be old as hell to only have that much memory. I bought one that size when i was in college in 07 lol

Good point ... Be sure that they are all *.mp3 ... Were they all sourced from the same location ... Do I recall that some are proprietary and can't be copied to another device only played at the original download site ?? Just a thought

Might be a max MB the headunit can read or they are the wrong file type

Every single device I have has a different song count of the media on it, or what its reading it from, even though EVERYTHING is on all of them. Could be file type like said above, bit rates, Could be it didn't finish "indexing" the stick (although 500-600 is not a problem, I have a drive with 15k plus MP3s on it). Try to identify some of the ones not showing up, then look at them on a computer and see if you see anything different about them compared to the ones that work.

No I’ve got 2000 songs on a stick on my M8…must be a different format

Save them to a new folder on the computer. Use that folder and an mp3 converter and see if they all show after. It might be easier than trying to identify a single song in the Playlist not showing up.
