Let me start by saying I no audio pro by any means at all, nor am I nor am I much of writer.. lol. So we all know HD stock system suck so here we are.. so after little reading some videos I decide on New Hertz 4.900 amp ,Rockford Fosgate DSR-1 with Ground Zero CF6.5sPL & CF 69SPL yellow basket Speakers..
Well seeing the amp is so new that I couldnt find anything on installing in Roadglide so this is just give next guy little help on what worked for me so far. Lol. There are no brackets that I could find or dealers know of that work for this. So pictures are worth thousand words..
1st there isn’t much room to work with and no way to attach or strap/ Velcro amp into place. I did ver1 of bracket that was to bolt in but that 3/16” thickness of nuts use room that was needed. So ver2 idea was slide brackets.. The little bracket were PIA to fab with just hammer and vice but we managed .I did tack weld with mig but they could use pop rivets. As for DSR it’s only strap onto amp cause trying to get in perfect spot with Velcro prove to be impossible.. lol As for wiring I used channel on each side of radio bracket to run wires around.
Many thanks G E E that is very informative I'm about to undertake a similar install shortly in my 2022 Road Glide Special and this has answered some questions I had in relation to space and layout in this area.

No problem Im sure not only way to install but only sure way I could come up with.
I finished my install. I did heatgun to pods and had no problem installing fairing . Im still fine tuning system but can tell you it sounds fantastic & did quick ride to test sounds at speeds 80mph. 👍🏼👍🏼. No even turn up a lot . Thanks to Chris @ Garage Baggers Stereo
Were you not able to velcro it on top of the headlight?
I honestly dont try. I dont see that amp fitting anywhere by under radio where I put it.
I should have added the sheet metal I use was 20ga which is available at your local Home Depot Lowes. And you can cut it with a pair of tin snips. And if anybodys wanting to copy making the cliffs, I could probably do a short video on how I made the clips with nothing more than a vice, hammer and screwdriver.

Okay good to know too that I can push out the pods a bit to accommodate a larger magnet speaker if required. Those Ground Zero CF 6.5PL's look like they have a decent sized magnet.. I had a pair of Rockford Fosgate T1650's from a previous install idea that I tried to get to fit in the pods for a temporary solution and even without their rubber bumper on the magnet I just couldn't get them to fit in the pods. When I look to undertake the upgrade I'll see if I can get them to fit. Chis is helpful I got my Precision Power saddlebag 6x9 inch speaker install kit from him. I tried dealing with some of the other well know car/motorcycle audio companies in the States particularly in relation to shipping, I'm in Australia, and it was all just too hard for them. Chris on the other hand, no problem here to help.
