Good morning,
Installed a new system in my bike and at first connection to the battery, the amp is always on.
I have a Maestro AHD2 wiring harness, a Rockford DSR1, and a SD 1200.4 Amp.
I have the harness blue and white wire hooked up to amp turn on. But the power light is always on the amp.
Any thoughts?
I traced it back from the harness of the Maestro AHD2 and it is connected, the blue/white wire is tied into the amp turn on.
I double checked the DSR1 Firmware to ensure it is up to date, still no go.

2 quick things to try:
-- remove remote wire from amp to make sure amp off. Rule out amp issue
--By-pass DSP and run remote wire from harness to amp. To see if DSP is causing issue.
I think the problem is with the DSR1. I disconnected the remote on wire and the amp still remained on. I then disconnected the input side of the Maestro wiring harness and the amp remained on. Then I disconnected the output side of the DSR1 (using the RCA plugs) and the amp then shut off. The ignition switch was still in the off position at this point as well. I hooked up the DSR1 and confirmed it was up to date on its firmware.
Would you agree that it looks like it could be a bad DSR1?
According to the Maestro AHD2 details it's not for the GTS head unit.I have a 20 road glide with a dsr-1 & SD1200X4 with no problem
Where did you see that? I was able to find something on Crutchfield that said "without a GTS sound system" but the iDatalink installation guide and this YouTube video from iDatalinkMaestro doesn't mention that restriction. In fact the video does mention to select the correct headunit when flashing the DSR1 and it shows a GTS HU as an option.
In Crutchfield details for that harness. : The iDatalink Maestro HRN-AR-HD2 T-harness lets you add a Rockford Fosgate DSR1 digital signal processor and aftermarket amplifiers (both sold separately) to your compatible Harley-Davidson bike with factory non-GTS radio.I also called them when I saw your post to verify fit.
