Default Gt 6.5 & gts

Quick question. My radio is flashed for 4 speakers. I'm only doing the fairing speakers. There is a resister for the front, which is recommended to "load" the speakers of radio or something. I remember a couple years ago, reading something about doing this to the rear speaker out-puts "if" the rear output was enabled. Can somebody tell me if this is a must or not ?

Real simple to have it set back to two speakers.

It's an option, but not one I'm going with though. (just in case)

I can't tell you if it's a "must" or not (I haven't used them myself) but I've seen a few people/companies I respect (AHB and Cicada) that say they are. Maybe what you read back then was this article from AHB? It says the rear channels from the HU do require load resisters even if not used.

I've seen this article long time ago, but if you take apart their amplifier input harness you will find 30Ohm resistor, not a 47Ohm as in the article
