Not really sure where to post this but, I was in Ormond Beach opening day Bike Week on Friday. I was talking to the guys from a Cicada Audio set-up, I think it was @ Boot Hill. Any way, according to them, the owner of Cicada Audio has passed away earlier last week ! They did not know the status of the company going forward. This really sucks. I had a chance to talk to Larry Fredricks in recent months when I bought my amp. I hope someone with drive and knowledge picks up the torch and runs with it. The products seem to be of high quality.
God Speed Larry ! RIP
Fwiw, I noticed last week the site has gone down. I wish I would have had a chance to test the Cicada's. Hopefully, someone picks up the torch. The feedback I was hearing was rather promising.

I've got their DSP amp and 6.5 horn speakers and have nothing but good things to say. The app that controls the dsp is a little cumbersome but works well.

I was just at a seminar and talked to Forrest and Marty who are reps from Cicada.
The company is NOT GOING ANYWHERE and will keep evolving to keep Larry's dream a reality.
There are over 30 items in beta that are being tested and more in the queue.
So the brand Cicada is here for the long run.
There are 3 more amps that will be released very soon 1 of them being a BDA600.4. Which is in the picture below.
