Headphone-Use EQ
This maybe covered already, but just didn't find anything on it. I have a 2020 Ultra with the stock radio/nav system in it. I don't care much for the outside (speakers) audio system, so what I do is use in-ear earbuds, wired to the 7 pin plug on the tank. I have a very good set of earbuds, and find this more comfortable and better than trying to amp up or listed to audio on the bikes' speakers while riding. Plus, it helps with the noise. Problem is, I can connect the earbuds directly to my phone or iPod and it sounds great. Hook it up through the bike, sounds like ****. I mean, sounds like an AM radio type of ****. Now, I've read a few things about adjusting the EQ and such, and that the EQ changes when the bike is started, etc. I like using the carplay through my system, and using the nav while playing my tunes. Yes, I could just use the iPod, but that kinda defeats my purpose on the Nav part. So.. Brings me to this: Is there a way to adjust the EQ for this, if so, what tool can be used? I keep reading about flashing and such. With what, and can this be done on a stock radio without forking over my life savings to the dealer, or killing my system?
